A pair of Moqui Marbles.

Moqui Marbles are also known as Shaman Stones.

Moqui Marbles are naturally formed balls composed mainly of an outer Hematite shell and an inner ball of compacted sandstone. They are named after the Moqui/Hopi Indians who inhabited the land where they are found and they are believed to have formed about 130 - 155 million years ago. Hopi Shamans have long used these balls in their ceremonies.

This pair of Moquis comes from Utah in the USA.

Size and Weight.

The larger stone is 3.3cm long and 3.1cm wide. The smaller stone is 3.1cm long and 2.9cm wide. Weight of both stones together is 63g.
