Natural piece Wollastonite from Devon, UK 'Fix What's Broke' 74g SN54368

An unusual natural piece of Wollastonite.

This is the first time I have seen this stone available. It's rather beautiful. These pieces have their top face covered in whorls of acicular crystals that look just like feathers. Their silvery grey colour adds to the impression of angel wing feathers.

This Wollastonite is from Meldon Orehampton in Devon, UK.

Wollastonite is a naturally occurring mineral that combines calcium, silicon and oxygen.

This piece is 7.6cm long and 4.1cm wide and weighs 74g.
