A rare jumbo size Eclogite crystal tumble stone.

Eclogite is a metamorphic rock formed at very high temperatures and pressures kilometres deep with-in the mantle or lowermost part of the earths crust.

It is mainly red/pink Garnet and green Pyroxene though it may also contain other minerals such as Kyanite, Amphibole and Zoisite.

It is a rare rock found only in areas where the deep crust has been forced to the surface.

This Eclogite is from Germany.
