Tumbled Tectite, tumble stone 10.8g SN25255

A Tectite tumble stone.

Tectites were formed by meteor impact with earth where Quartz sand was present. The high temperatures and pressure caused by the impact produced a splash effect upwards that then fell back to earth as fused glass in strewn fields. Tectites are opaque, often pitted and resemble Obsidian. These stones are tumbled tectites.

These Tectite tumble stones come from China.

The stone you see in the photographs is the one you will receive. The acrylic stand is not included.

Tumble stones are an ideal size to hold during meditation or to be used as pocket stones. Carry them in your bag or pocket or place them under your pillow.
