A 925 silver set faceted Baltic Amber pendant. This pendant has been faceted to give a raised triangle in it's centre.

Baltic Amber dates from the Eocene approximately 44 million years ago. In the past Amber was thought to have formed from the resin of a form of Pine tree but it is now believed to have fossilised from the sap of a now extinct form of conifer.

Most Amber is harvested from beaches alongside the Baltic Sea with more than 90% of Amber available today being from the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.
