A rare large Isua Stone crystal tumble stone.

Isua Stone is a rare stone found only in the Isua Greenstone Belt in southwest Greenland.

Rocks in the Isua Greenstone Belt are considered some of the most ancient rocks on earth with an estimated age of 3.7 - 3.8 billion years old. Melting ice only recently revealed Stromatolite fossils in the area that predate anything similar already found on earth by several hundred million years and the area is being intensively studied scientifically to determine both the process which formed the belt and because of it's great age to identify signs of the very earliest terrestrial life.

The stone you see in the photographs is the one you will receive. The acrylic stand is not included.

Tumble stones are an ideal size to hold during meditation or to be used as pocket stones. Carry them in your bag or pocket or place them under your pillow.
