A beautiful small 925 silver set Tanzanite crystal pendant.

Tanzanite is a lavender blue form of Zoisite. It's unusual colouration is due to the presence of small amounts of Vanadium. Tanzanite exhibits a strong trichroism which means that it can appear different colours under different lighting conditions.

All Tanzanite is heated. In it's natural state it is a reddish brown colour and only after heating is it's lavender blue hue revealed.
