A rare cluster of octahedral Cuprite crystals.

Cuprite is an oxide mineral composed of Copper Oxide. It has red through red/brown to blue/black crystals. Some dark crystals have internal red reflections. It is also known as Red Copper or Ruby Copper because of it's colour.

This Cuprite is from the Rubtsovkiy Mine, Altaiskiy Krai, Siberia, Russia.
